Moving thoughts (take 16)

we are once again planning a move - this time not that far, though - just 225 meters from here, but as you can imagine it still entails a great deal of logistics and visits to Ikea...

What would the world be like without Ikea?? And how would we be able to impulsively go out and buy furniture and kitchen goods on a saturday?? Mind you the impulse took us just about 7 hours and the kids were in the play-place three times so we could get organized...

The good thing is that we will receive the stuff in ten days time and the people bringing the things will be assembling it all...that could have taken me a full week to get a bed to look like a bed and a dining room table to look something like a dining room table...

The place we've found is really close to where we are now - with the advantage that we will have a real contract that doesn't leave us with the feeling of uncertainty of when we should move...the place is smaller but with a great view and also great possibilities for the kids to make friends...and there is a swimming pool too...

So, instead of our hacienda - next time we'll be in our flat overlooking the City and port - we might even be sharing a Manzanilla with you??
