Oh, I forgot…

We’ve actually been back in Spain for a year now!

Marcus needed to finish school — and although he wasn’t too thrilled about the idea at first, it’s turned out to be a great success. He managed to complete two academic years in one and is now doing his Bachillerato with a focus on art. Good for him!

Alex started university in Sevilla, studying Tourism, and is really enjoying it — that should keep him busy for the next four years.

Victor is just finishing his internship at an IT company and will graduate in a few months. I’m very proud of his work and results and curious to see where he’ll land next.

Emma has taken on an entrepreneurial role this year, helping companies with their online presence while pursuing her Master’s at Copenhagen University. It’s wonderful to see how they’re all embracing life’s challenges in their own ways — and I feel lucky to witness it.

Mayte is working hard on her upcoming solo exhibition in an old sugar cane factory in Motril — opening in just two weeks. Woop woop!

Her kids are spread out across Europe too: Gael and her lovely children in Dublin, Alex and Diana running their Algorithmics school, and Natalia and Alberto setting up their first home in Valencia.

As for me — I’ve been working in real estate for the past six months. It’s challenging but also deeply rewarding to help people find their dream homes here in Andalucía. Time will tell if it’s profitable :-) but for now, I get to explore some of the most beautiful places around Málaga.
